Home Battery has no accounts, no server of its own, and no analytics. Everything it shows is read from your own home and stays on your device. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing collected.

What it reads from your home

With your permission the app reads your Apple Home setup through HomeKit: the accessories, the rooms they sit in, and the battery level each accessory reports. That is the whole point of the app, and it is all it asks for. iOS grants the access, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.

What stays on your device

Battery readings are kept over time so the app can draw history and estimate what is about to die, and you can record when a battery was replaced. All of it lives in the app's own local database on your device, plus a shared container the Home Screen widget reads. None of it is uploaded, backed up to a server of ours, or synced through iCloud.

Notifications

The app can warn you that a battery is low or that an accessory has stopped reporting. Those notifications are scheduled locally on your device and the checks run on the device in the background. There is no push service, so nothing about your home passes through any server on the way to you.

What reaches us

Nothing. We run no server, hold no database, and cannot see your accessories, your rooms, or whether you use the app at all. The app makes no network requests; the only links in it open kasparek.net and apps.kasparek.app in your browser. TestFlight and the App Store give a developer aggregate crash and usage statistics collected by Apple — those come from Apple, not from the app, and are governed by its terms.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, whatever their age.
